The Bedford Amateur Radio Club (K5BED) has brought licensed amateur radio operators together in Bedford, Texas since 2005. We've been an ARRL-affiliated club since March 15, 2008, and today count around 50 licensed members of all ages and experience levels.
Public service is at the heart of what we do. Our volunteers provide communications for marathons, bicycle rides, and charity walks across the region, monitor Bedford's outdoor warning sirens, and stay ready to support our community when normal communications fail.
