The Bedford Amateur Radio Club, established in 2005, was conceived by former Bedford Executive Fire Officer Rick Nash. The BARC maintains strong ties with the City of Bedford, Texas, and actively contributes to supporting the city’s emergency communication needs and related functions.
BedfordARC members are interested in participating in any or all of the following: Amateur Radio Service (Ham Radio), CERT, Skywarn, R.A.C.E.S., A.R.E.S., Public Service, and Education.
Anyone interested in supporting the continued growth and spirit of amateur radio with the BedfordARC is welcome and encouraged to join.
